So it wasn't a major crisis. Perhaps I just needed to talk to friends and figure it out for myself.
Yes, I still want another baby. And I plan on working as soon as they're both older.
Apparently, you can do with two kids what you can do with one.
I woke up today feeling silly for freaking out earlier. My mind is clear again. And it wants another baby!

Success is how you define it for yourself. What do you need to be successful? I know plenty of Mom's that are full time teachers with two or three children. I think they find their careers very fulfilling and successful. My hair dresser who owns her own salon is 29 years old, has three kids, and a husband who is only home about four days a month due to construction work out of the area. I find her to be quite successful. Hmmm... I am sitting here trying to think....my friend who is a very successful mortgage broker in the bay area has two children. Her last child is a senior in High School but she always worked full time their whole lives...My friend Cathy has two children the same age as mine and she is a computer programmer, works full time and does free lance work on the side..I think she feels very successful in her career... Do any of these examples help you???

ReplyDeleteYes, those help huge amounts. I guess I was just freaking out a little. :) Talking to you and a few other friends helped more than anything.
Babies are always a wonderful thing, stressful yes, but a sibling is the best gift you can ever give your child!
